Synopsy

Terms of Service

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms are between you and Eleista LLC, which makes Synopsy under its Gleamworthy brand. They cover your use of the Synopsy app for macOS and this website. By buying or using Synopsy, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Synopsy.

License

Synopsy is sold through Apple's Mac App Store. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple'sLicensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement controls. You may use Synopsy on the Apple devices you own or control, as Apple's Usage Rules allow. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or modify the app, except where the law allows it.

Purchases and refunds

Synopsy is a one-time purchase. Apple handles all payments, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds directly, because we never receive your payment details.

Your Google account

Synopsy shows data from your Google Analytics 4 properties, using read-only access that you grant through Google. You're responsible for having permission to view the Analytics properties you connect. Your use of Google services is governed by Google's own terms. You can revoke Synopsy's access at any time, as described in ourPrivacy Policy.

Not affiliated with Google

Synopsy is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. Google Analytics is a trademark of Google LLC. Synopsy depends on Google's APIs, which Google may change, limit, or discontinue.

Data accuracy

Synopsy shows the numbers Google's APIs return. Google may apply sampling or privacy thresholds, report data with a delay, or omit data. Synopsy is a convenience for viewing your analytics. Don't rely on it as your only record for billing, legal, or financial decisions.

No warranty

Synopsy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Synopsy will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always compatible with Google's services or future versions of macOS.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of Synopsy. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Synopsy. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Synopsy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
